He holds a Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science from Kazakh-British Technical University and a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science from Nazarbayev University.
His research focuses on multimodal artificial intelligence for robotics, particularly the integration of visual, tactile, and language information to enable intelligent robotic perception, reasoning, and manipulation. His current work explores Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, large language models, and tactile sensing for adaptive robotic decision-making and physical interaction.
He has contributed to research on visuo-tactile robotic manipulation, deep learning-based tactile perception, wearable sensing systems, and natural language processing, with publications in IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, PeerJ Computer Science, and international robotics conferences. Alongside his academic research, he has extensive industry experience developing and deploying AI and machine learning systems.
boticsLab group of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Spain. He received his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering (specializing in Systems Engineering) and M.Sc. in Robotics and Automation from UC3M. His research interests include assistive and humanoid robotics, with a current focus on teleoperation and telepresence applied to heterogeneous robotic platforms using VR interfaces. He has been an active contributor and developer within the RoboticsLab codebase since 2016, serving as the lead maintainer for the GitHub repositories associated with TEO, the lab&rsquo;s full-size humanoid robot, as well as related manipulator arm platforms. Strongly committed to FOSS, he contributes to the open-source ecosystem and has authored or co-authored approximately 30 national and international conference papers and journal articles. Alongside his research, he brings extensive teaching experience, having delivered over 400 hours of practical coursework and mentored more than 30 B.Sc. and M.Sc. theses. He is currently a visiting PhD student at the AGDR group at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), China.</p>
